BT Internet Rangers

Although more and more people are now using the internet, twenty-nine percent of the UK population is still classed as ‘digitally excluded’ which means that they are missing out on access to information, cheaper goods and services and ways to keep in touch with family and friends. Part of the BT digital inclusion programme, Internet Rangers was created to encourage, support and recognise the amazing work that young people are doing to help bridge the digital divide. Nearly a third of parents and grandparents have been taught or encouraged to use the internet by a young person under 16.

Visit the BT Internet Rangers website to find out more about the annual awards programme, school events and to read the stories of some inspiring young internet rangers.
