Communications skills and technology can give individuals and communities everywhere the opportunity to take part in the global economy. The challenge is to ensure the benefits are felt equally. Millions still lack access to technology and the skills to use it, and in many countries the gap between rich and poor is widening.

Access to Information and Communications Technology (ICT) can improve people's lives, opening doors to education, jobs and entertainment. But many people are missing out because they don’t have the opportunity or necessary skills to use the technology.
Through our digital inclusion projects we work with partners to help older people, disadvantaged communities and individuals gain ICT skills they can use to improve their lives.
