BT Germany is forging ahead as an integrated network and IT service provider. One example is the innovative call centre solution developed for the pay TV broadcaster Premiere AG.
"The solution which we have developed for Premiere marks a shift away from conventional thought: From proprietary systems which are costly to maintain and difficult to expand, to an open, scaleable platform which can be flexibly adapted to meet future developments." - Jan Geldmacher, CEO BT Germany.
BT works closely with technology partners such as Cisco and HP in Germany on the development of new products and solutions, as well as on customer projects. German customers also benefit from BT’s global partnerships.
In May 2005, BT Germany became the first company in the German telecommunications sector to obtain BS15000 certification (future: ISO 20000). Certification shows that our IT processes satisfy the stringent requirements of the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL).
Customer satisfaction is at the heart of BT's strategy. German customers have access to the BT customer service centre in Frankfurt, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year – a single point of service for everything from questions about your bill, or changing your service configuration, to monitoring, fault tracing and rectification.
